Update...sort of

I'm still suffering the hives..rash..itch..whatever the hell it is on the back of my neck and shoulders. Went to the dr again last Thursday and he's at a loss also so my next step is to see a dermatologist. I'll have to go out to Hershey and I'm sure there will be a wait so I'm not thrilled. I have fingers crossed it doesnt take 3 months. In the meantime I suffer basically. I have 1 medicine that helps about 25% of the time but it makes me reaaallly sleepy so I can't take it all the time =[

My 7 year old starts school in the morning so no more sleeping in. We'll be up every morning at 6:30am. Unfortunately my sleep habits have been really bad lately so I know this first week is going to be rough lol. My 4 yr old does not nap at all ever either.

The weather has been funny lately so my Fibro is in major over drive. I'm having a lot of pain and migraines. I think this week is going to be all about the coffee and the sugar LOL.

I hope things calm down for you as the Fall hits and that they figure out the skin issue.

  2. I totally understand what you're going through hun! Mine seems to be in hyper drive lately too. I deal with the hives too. Usually its when i'm either too cold, too hot, or just got out of the shower.

My kids start back to school this week too so I hear ya. No more sleeping in. Grrr! It's ok though. It seems like the longer I sleep the more pain I wake up in.

  3. My daughter gets hives as well for no reason. I've been trying to figure out what is causing it but to no avail. Hope they find a remedy.

  4. I understand that Fibro sufferers really take a beating when stress or weather fluctuate too much. I'm so sorry you are having such a rough time. It sounds like you've got the right attitude though with laughing about the coffee and sugar. :) Prayers coming your way! Rebecca @ Love2EncourageYou

  5. I hope you find some relief. Could it be shingles on your back? Doesn't it cause a rash?

  7. Get better soon. The weather has been aggravating my fibro too. I also had to drive from Columbus to Huntington West V for a funeral. That did not help much. Every day I am hoping that I am going to get more relief. I can't do sugar and caffeine - they make my migraines go haywire. Magnesium helps mine though. I'm also drained of energy a lot.

  9. I completely understand what you are going through. I have Fibro too and am having a weird bout of something else. It is difficult when you live with it every day and something else is added in the mix. I am going through something similar right now it is very hard to deal with both physically and mentally. Hang in there.
