NaBloPoMo ~ Day 8

What blogging task takes up a lot of your energy?

I run a book and product review blog (http://momzunas.blogspot.com/) for about a year now. I LOVE what I do and I hope I never have to give it up!

I think the hardest part of the blogging job is putting the posts together. Getting the perfect pictures and putting the review together. I sometimes have trouble expressing myself so even though I may love a product, I don't want to sound bland or boring so I take my time and try to find the right words that express how I feel and that will make my readers want to check the product or book out.

  1. I spend countless hours working on my blogs. I think showing love and support takes a great deal of my time, but I like doing it, so no complaints here!

  5. Pictures can take forever, especially if you are conscientious of the types of pictures. Finding public Domain pictures for what you want can be a pain.

  6. Sometimes it's writing, sometimes it's putting it all together! I don't think most people realize how much time goes into one little post each day!

  7. I like to handwrite mine down on paper so I can collect my thoughts and know the order I want to write it. I agree it takes a lot of time and thought.

  8. Thinking of different ways to write a review can certainly be difficult and time consuming. Have you ever tried "mind-mapping?" It's easy to do and helps out a lot - Basically what you do is print a photo of product you are reviewing and you try to do is write down words, phrases, ideas or even short sentences associated with the item. Then when you are ready to sit and compose your post, you refer to your "map" and begin writing!

  9. The tasks can be daunting! There are so many aspects when it comes to blogging, it can be overwhelming! I set goals for myself and try not to stress if I don't get to every task that day. I just try to get as many done as I can and the others I try not to worry about :)
